The 28th annual Hospice of Lenawee “Run, Walk, and Bike Tour” is this coming Sunday (June 27). The bicycling portion of this event is a 50K (roughly 31-mile) spin through west-central Lenawee County. (Click here to take a peek at last year’s route.)
Registration for cyclists is from 7a to 9a. Unlike past years, this year’s ride begins at Blissfield High School, though I know of at least one rider who will begin at the Sienna Heights University field house at 7a. (I might be joining him. Post a comment or get in touch with me via email if you’re interested in doing likewise.)
The Run, Walk, and Bike Tour is one of only two organized rides in our immediate vicinity that directly support local charities. If that weren’t reason enough to take part, it’s also a well-organized, well-attended, and terrifically fun ride. If you’re already planning to participate, thank you. If you haven’t given it much thought before now, please join us. It’s not too late to register. (If you’re unable or hesitant to register online, just register in person the morning of the event.)
See you there!
