This is fantastic news for our community. It is a sign of progressive thinking, which is something we, as a community, need to exhibit regularly if we’re to attract business and nurture growth. One of the best things about the Kiwanis Trail is that it’s so well-positioned to connect various areas of the city, which makes it a tremendous resource for a wide range of folks, not just cyclists. Unfortunately, this money won’t go far on account of how expensive the bridge portion is. However, the short distance of 500 feet, in this case, will result in a major tie-in for the southwest side of town.
